Roof Soft Washing in Porter, Kingwood & New Caney
Those black streaks running down your shingles are a form of algae. They are not dirt, they are not wear, and a pressure washer is the worst possible thing to put on them.
What we clean
Every surface on the list, done the way that surface wants.
- Asphalt and composite shingle
- Tile and concrete tile
- Metal roofing
- Roof valleys and ridge lines
- Gutter faces and drip edge
- Skylight surrounds
Low pressure and the right solution. No pressure washer goes near the shingles.
How we do it
The method matters more than the machine.
A roof never sees pressure from us. Soft washing applies a cleaning solution at low pressure, the solution kills the algae, and rain carries the rest off over the following weeks.
High pressure on a shingle roof strips the granules that make the shingle a roof. It looks clean the day it is done and takes years off the life of the material, and most roofing warranties are void the moment somebody does it.
Gutters and landscaping get protected and rinsed. We work off the ground or the edge wherever the pitch and the access allow it.
Before and after

Every one of these is a job Elite has done in North Houston.
Why Elite
Why people call us for this.
-
01
Commercial-Grade Equipment
Not a consumer machine out of a truck bed. A trailer rig with the water capacity, the pressure and the surface cleaners the job needs, which is the difference between clean concrete and striped concrete.
-
02
The Right Chemical for the Surface
Siding, brick, stucco, wood, composite, shingle and concrete each want something different. Rhett handles that side of it, and it is the part most of the trade skips.

Two Owners, Not a Crew You Never Meet
Rhett and Kyle are the ones who show up. You are talking to the people who own the company and who have to drive past the work afterward.
Questions
Roof Soft Washing questions.
Is soft washing safe for shingles?
It is the method the shingle manufacturers point to. Low pressure and a cleaning solution, rather than force.
How long until the streaks disappear?
Much of it lifts during the wash. The rest fades over the next few weeks as rain rinses the dead growth off.
Will it come back?
In this climate, yes, eventually. Heavy shade and tree cover bring it back sooner than full sun.
What does exterior cleaning cost?
It depends on the surface, the size and how much buildup is on it — a single-story driveway and a two-story house with thirty feet of shaded brick are not the same job. That is what the free estimate is for. You get a number before anything starts, and there is no charge for asking.
How do I get an estimate?
Fill out the free estimate form on this site, or call or text (346) 225-6799. Tell us the surface and roughly the size, and photos help if you have them.
